Aims & Objectives
Mission: Theme: "Product from concept to Reality"
Goal
To have a complete design center where all CAD - CAM - CAE software will be under one umbrella with an additional facility of rapid prototyping and CNC machining and where the training in the all above mentioned areas can be given and product design and consultancy work can be taken up.
CAD-CAM Training -- Need of the hour
To compete in today's furious market, manufacturing organizations must develop the product from "Concept of Reality" quicker than ever. In view of this, the need for computer aided design and manufacturing plays a vital role. To stay in competition, it has become mandatory for all manufacturing companies to implement CAD-CAM CAE tools. The awareness about the importance of these technologies is growing rapidly in Indian industries in last few years.
Many of them are shifting from traditional boundaries to modern
design approach.
It is the common grievance of the industry relating to the wide
gap between the CAD-CAM training imparted at undergraduate level vis-à-vis expectations in the competitive market outside. So an engineer has to undergo special training programs to get tuned with these latest technologies. Our aim at this center is to train the engineers as per the need of the hour and hence to create better job opportunities.
Future Of CAD-CAM-CAE Industry
Dramatic improvements in time to market the product require a refined collaborative approach towards automation of existing facility. As it is a well known fact that if product comes in to the market late by six months, thirty percent of profit is lost. Because of this every manufacturing organisation is aiming towards automation wherever possible. The trend in CAD-CAM sector clearly indicates that need of automation is ever growing and it will continue to grow till the manufacturing activities art existing. Unlike other short span activities CAD-CAM is heading towards consistent growth in terms of, business opportunities & application areas like product design and development, reverse engineering etc.
