"MIT Alumni Association", which works as a part and parcel of MIT's Central Organization.
Having practical experience in the field, wherever our past students are working, they have visualized that the new global order plays a vital role and brings a sharp focus on the necessity of essentially and to effectively channelise all the human resources for achieving any work apart from its significance to any job. We have now realized that there is a boom in the opportunities for rewarding careers and consulting positions in real life having some specialization in Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Science and so on.
Our alumni are our most respectable resource persons from their core discipline and from whom we expect enormous as well as comprehensive assistance about their fields of work which they truly satisfy. They help our organization, being past student, to grow intellectually by sharing their experiences with our present students.
With their rich post-academic experience, they prove to be an asset to us and with their practical experience they definitely contribute towards some new innovatory projects and schemes which we propose and plan to launch and carry out. The knowledge of their practical field experience and various developments place a premium on the present young students possessing some superior skills and talents in the emerging Engineering Sciences.
We aim at consolidating the bond between our Alumni and our present students. We keep the alumni informed about the developments that are taking place in our Institution thus realizing our aspirations to be one of the India's leading institution with regard to teaching continuing education, research, community services and different programmes.
The numerous students with undergraduate and post-graduate experience in MAEER Institutions, Maharashtra are part of the Alumni family. In Order to bring together all MAEER's past students, the Alumni Office traces every Indian and Foreign student who have ever graduated at MIT.
Slowly but steadily the Alumni Association is establishing groups of MIT's alumni in various states/cities, within and outside India in order to provide the opportunity to establish links, exchanges and friendships between fellow alumni nationwide/worldwide.

Alumni: Dept. of Electronics & Tele-Communications Engineering
Alumni Association is helpful in having a better interaction with the industry for the benefit of the students.
Various Alumni are helping the department/students in the following ways:
- Delivering lectures on subjects of
topical interest in E&TC Engineering
- Sponsoring and guiding Projects
- Providing placements to students of MIT in their own firms.
The Department of E&TC Engineering has successfully trained 21 batches of BE students. Some of the students have been selected for postgraduate studies with Scholarships in India as well as abroad. They are doing exceedingly well. With its fully equipped laboratories and qualified staff, the department is capable of meeting all the challenges, including starting of additional postgraduate courses.

Alumni: Dept. of Petroleum Engineering
Alumni Support
Alumni are providing active support to faculty and students in.
- Award of scholarships
- Mr. Rishiraj Nath has installed "Archana" Scholarship for economically needy students of Petroleum Engineering.
The scholarship is awarded to one student each from TE and BE and is worth Rs. 18,000/- each.
- Dr Khambete has installed a cash prize for one student of final year Petroleum Engineering for securing highest marks in Drilling Engineering
- Mr Atul Sahay has installed a Gold Medal for one student of final year Petroleum Engineering for securing highest marks in Subjects in Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Exploration and Formation Evaluation.
- Schlumberger, a giant in Global Petroleum Service Industry, has initiated the Schlumberger Indian University Handshake Program to undertake and nurture relationship with key Indian Universities in the realm of collaborative research and joint industrial project.
The Petroleum Engineering Department is one of the five selected Indian Universities for this program. Following students have received the scholarship
