What is a Visit Day ?

Our Visit Days are intended for students to find out more about the type of academic and social life they can expect at the MAEER's MIT. You will be able to see the University and the city for yourself, talk to staff and generally get a feel for the place.


Who should attend ?

1)Prospective undergraduate students who aspire for an engineering degree.
2)Students who have applied for an engineering course.
3)Parents or teachers who wish to have additional information about the institute and the courses conducted.
4)Students interested in postgraduate studies and research.

Why should I attend ?
1)To help you chart your own career path.
2)To see the institute and meet the faculty personally, just to clarify any misconceptions.
3)To get a feel of the location and its serene beauty.
4)To know the life on the campus.
5)To know more about as to how we have succeeded in implementing quality in education system.

Where they are held ?
TOUR DE CAMPUS’ starts from the main gate. Here you will be able to speak to faculty from academics and administrative services and plan your day to ensure you make the most of your visit.

When are they held ?
Through out the year.


How can I arrange to attend ?

Please book your place in advance to avoid disappointment. You can book your place by calling up our administrative office or can fill up the online booking form. If you arrive on the day without prior booking, your visit then would be restricted to central facilities. You may not be able to attend a departmental talk or tour.


What, if, I can't attend ?

Still the options are available:

  • You can opt for an alternate day of visit.
  • You can take a virtual tour by logging on to our website.


How can I arrange to bring a school group ?

Please note that we will need to know total no. of pupils and which departments they wish to visit.

How do I attend a Departmental Open Day ?

Departmental open days are designed for students whose applications for our courses have been accepted and who are invited to join the college. For departmental open days contact departments directly.
