Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), was established in 1983, at Pune, India. Today MAEER’s Maharashtra Institute of Technology, affiliated to University of Pune, is recognized as one of the centers of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been dynamic progress at MIT group of institutions in all academic and research activities, and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure, to keep it on par with the best institutions in the world. Institutes in positions of excellence grow with time. The ideas and ideals on which such institutes are built evolve and change with national aspirations, national perspectives, and trends world - wide. Maharashtra Institute of Technology Pune, too, is one such institution.

MAEER has always ventured into new avenues that are important in national development. Career Guidance Center is a gateway to aspired career and helps to become competent in the world of globalization. MIT Career Guidance Centre envisages providing career services, soft skills development Programme, and preparatory courses to help students to become excellent competent and professional. In order to open new avenues of career, institute is trying to strengthen relationship with industry, Indian and foreign universities and Alumni through more interaction/workshops/visits.
