Scope For Process Engineering
Process Engineering is the FIRST STAGE in various fields of engineering. Process engineering constitute over 25% of total Engineering man-hours in Chemical Process Industry, Petroleum & Petrochemical industry, Refinery, Oil & Gas sector, Atomic and Nuclear power stations, Marine, Pharmaceutical industry, Power Plant, Cryogenic System.
Importance of Process Engineer
A Process engineer plays an important role from “Concept to Commissioning” in all sectors of process and related industries. With increasing emphasis on research and development new technology , new product and global competition , the requirement of skilled Process engineers is increasing day by day.
New Challenge For Process Engineer
Global challenges for process engineer are optimization of process, various new needs, Research & Development, Environmental aspects. New manufacturing process, New fuel, Energy optimization, limited resources of oil and Gas. Pre-requisite skills for a process engineer comprise Design, Manufacturing, Project Planning, Pipeline integrity, Corrosion control system Metallurgical consulting, Facility audits, Automation & Control Systems, Security and atomization large scale refinery , Petrochemical.
A process engineer has to be conversant with subject such as Fluid Handling, Unit operation and reaction kinetics Nucler and Thermal power stations Material of Construction, Field Instrumentation, Statutory & safety aspects.

Interaction with Industry
The course content and study material is framed and modeled by eminent experts from the different engineering streams. The faculties, which has vast industrial experience in well-known organization and specialized in particular subjects, conducts lectures and practical. Eminent working professionals revive the performance of the participant.
