Achievements
Every year about 20% of the final year students secure admission for higher studies at renowned Universities at abroad and IIT's in India. Department conducts add on courses.
Department Achievements
Prof. Mrs.V.Y.Kulkarni has received grant of Rs. 1 lakh from BCUD University of Pune for research work. The duration of research is 2 years. The title of the project is “Predictive data mining using cluster computing” The project intends to implement data mining algorithms using cluster of computers and extend it to grid computing. Till date, decision tree algorithm using cluster computing is done. The neural network based algorithm implementation is the next task to be completed.

Prof A. K. Pathak
- He was a “National President of CSI” (Computer Society of India) 2002-2004 & “Assistant Secretary General of AIC” (Asian ICT Confederation) Singapore 2003-2006.
- Fellow of CSI (Compute Society of India) and IE (Institution of Engineers).
- Selected as chairman of Research committee of CSI in 2007.
- Certified Facilitator for “SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE” and trained about 500 persons.

- Mr. Ashwin Joshi has secured the First Rank in the University of Pune in BE Computer Engineering in the year 2005.
- Mr. Rohit Prabhvalkar has secured the First Rank in the University of Pune in SE &TE Computer Engineering 2005 & 2006 and was also selected as best outgoing student in the year 2007.
- Ms.Smita Singhaniya has secured fifth Rank in the University of Pune in SE Computer Engineering in the year 2003
