Career Opportunities & Placements
E&TC graduates find wide opportunities in the growing communicative era of today. This course has been designed by the University of Pune in consultation with senior industrialists in the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering field. This ensues that graduates are well placed to enter a sustained career, which is rewarding, both intellectually and financially. Many diverse companies recruit graduates from this stream. The career paths followed are equally diverse ranging from electronic product design to heavy electrical plant maintenance, from research to production, from technical focus to customer focus.
Placements
Every year a large number of students are able to get jobs through the placement cell of MIT. Leading Engineering industries conduct campus interviews every year. To name a few : Tata Consultancy Services, Microsoft ,Wipro, L&T, Cognizant Ltd, Persistent Systems, Infosys etc.
Considering number of students who are interested in jobs, (excluding the students who are pursuing further studies and doing business) 70% of students are placed.
