• Anagha Gole secured 1st position in table tennis at Inter Engineering Sports meet  SUMMIT in 2004.
  
  
• Ravneet Singh got the most outstanding performance award in “Open Squash” event organized by “Kalyani Squash Championships, Pune” in association with “Poona Club and Residency Club”, in 2003-2004.
  
  
• Nikhil Kesar represented MIT in the Intercollegiate Table Tennis tournament and secured First prize in 2006-07

Events
Intexication
Every year a State Level Technical projects competition for the students is being organized for the last six years. There is an excellent response to this activity from the various colleges from different parts of Maharashtra. The event is partly sponsored by TCS, Microsoft, ACES, MIT, Pune.

IEEE Membersbhip
Two of the faculty members of this department are members of IEEE & IEEE societies. There is subscription to as many as 35 journals on various topics. This gives immense exposure to the recent trends in the electronics area. IEEE student branch “IMPETUS”, organizes events like seminar competitions, workshops like MATLAB etc.

INDUSTRIAL STUDY TOURS
Prof. Ms. N.R.Deshmukh and Prof. Mr. A.D.Anuse have organized and conducted industrial study tours for the last four years, the details of which are as follows:

Sponsored Students Projects
The department has received a grant of Rs. 4 Lakhs from AICTE, New Delhi under MODROB scheme for “Computer hardware and software Lab”.

Our final year students are working on the MODROB project.

2. Text Recognition for number plates using Image Processing
3. Implementation of fundamental digital filter structures using system generator S/W & SPARTAN-3 proto-board
