On 23rd May 2008, an awareness program for first year admission procedure was conducted as per directives provided by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The important information regarding first year engineering admissions was provided to the students and parents. Considering the social responsibility, MIT Pune has decided to provide admission information as stated by the directives of Government of Maharashtra and DTE along with that it also intends to provide the information regarding all Engineering and allied institutes of MIT Pune and there courses through its engineering admission information centre. The aspiring students and their parents can avail this facility.
The details of seat available for admission for First Year Engineering (F.E.) in MIT Institutions, Pune* are as follows:
1. Seats available for admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) :
80% seats of the sanctioned intake
(65%-on MHT-CET and 15% on AIEEE)
CAP is likely to start as per DTE notification after MHT-CET result.
2. Seats available for admission with Institute authorities :
20% seats of the sanctioned intake
