MAEER's Faculty of Engineering has been offering Bachelor and Master level degrees in various disciplines from its three Engineering Colleges, located in Pune.It has a glorious history of twenty eight years in imparting quality Engineering Education in India. At this juncture of our journey' there is a need to focus more on Research' Development and Innovation activities across the various departments.

To fulfill the need of carrying out Research, Development and Innovation work, we propose to establish MIT Center of Excellence for Research & Innovation (MITCERI) on our MIT Pune Campus.Our immediate goal will be to encourage faculty members and students at the Bachelor's and Master's levels to consciously bringing in research and innovation elements in their Project work.

We envision preparing our students at par with any other student of International Level. We are realistically ambitious to publish quality research results in National and International Conferences and Journals. To enrich their Learning Process, we plan to host well-known personalities from Academia and Industry to offer Invited Talks in the Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.

The state of the art facilities at MIT Pune will enable every aspiring student to conduct their research activities and enrich their career. We will expect that every student will go the extra mile to learn not only the pre-defined academic curriculum, but also to blend it with the need of today's Industry, and experiment the new ideas and concepts, translating them into new Research results.

India enjoys the reputation across the globe of being the Nation, which produces World Class Engineers and Scientists. We want our students to Walk in that Exciting Path of Research and Innovation to not only helping themselves, but also the Society and mankind as a whole.
