In the present ever changing and fast growing global technological era, Collaborations / Long Term relationships with the most reputed in the Industry and Academia has paramount importance in the Academic excellence of out-standing professional Institutes.

Besides, it is equally important to increase the employability of the Students. This is best achieved by bridging the gap between general caliber of the Engineering graduates and the actual requirement of the Industry, through various Campus Connect Programs, in terms of MoUs. It is a matter of great pride that we have signed number of MoUs / Collaborations, with world known MNCs.

Analyzing and realizing the significance of this aspect, the Institute has established a separate Office, headed by Prof.P.Subrahmanyam, Director-IAC (Industry Academia Collaborations), who is an asset to the Institute. He is a person with excellent Academic & long Industrial background and has made the complete transformation and face lift of this activity.

Under this, excellent opportunities such as Faculty Development Programs, Sabbaticals, Support for Research Projects, Establishment of R & D Labs / Centre for excellence, Industry’s involvement in various technical activities / competitions, are all available to the Institute.

What is still more important is, the Students have also an opportunity to work on live Projects, which enables them to get exposed to real Industrial problems, which in turn develops their confidence, transforms them from graduates into Engineers, resulting into more employability and Entrepreneurship.

More emphasis is given to cultivate and motivate the students towards the Entrepreneurship, by tying up with professionals in the area. The Office offers counseling for self employment and Entrepreneurship Development and provides the much needed guidance in this regard, to the students, through various successful Entrepreneurs.

In this era of Globalization, effective presentation / communication and the related soft skills are of paramount importance. Considering this, the Office imparts Training to all the interested students in Interpersonal and Personality Development skills, Group Discussion / Interview Techniques etc. It conducts practice tests on Analytical / Aptitude abilities, to improve the performance the students in various recruitment processes. This exercise is done through Industry experts and Professionals in the field.All this ensures that the students face the Recruitment Processes more confidently and successfully.

It is a matter of great pride for us that our Placements are one of the highest and almost at par with other top Technical Institutes and approximately more than 80% of the eligible students are Placed in the best Companies, before they step into final year.

Further, the Office organizes various Meetings, Seminars and Conferences and invites eminent personalities, including well known Industrialists, Top level executives for Guest Lectures through the concerned Departments. This helps to develop the all-round Personality of the students and also creates awareness amongst them regarding various areas of self employment and career opportunities.

The Office also co-ordinates with Industry regarding Sandwich & Summer Training Programs, Project works, and organizes number of Industrial visits through the concerned Departments, ensuring very strong Industry – Institute Relationship.

In a nutshell, the Office not only ensures that the students have many opportunities to get well Placed in top Corporate and Multi National Companies but also consistently guide them by offering  many other Career / Higher Education options, to enable them to ultimately reach their goals and fulfill their aspirations.
