Course Name: Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the most lucrative branches in Engineering & the heart of the advanced technology. We generate the logic and sequence of the future of emerging advancements in technology. Demand of E/tc Engineering in the fields of mobile communication, satellite ,radar, VLSI, embedded design ,medical electronics ,microwave is increasing day by day.
E/tc Engineers are responsible for design and development in all the above mentioned fields. They provide technical advice & consultation to others. With increasing advancements and applications in the field of electronics and telecommunications life has become easier. Emerging technologies in Space communication and Nanotechnology are bound to create new job opportunities for Electronics Engineers.
Students opting for E&Tc branch will have High voltage low resistive, harmonic free future
with progress at constant frequency
The course emphasis the design of communications and electronic systems and the application of principles developed in the course, to the solution of significant practical problems. Students for the extensive project work use workshop and laboratory facilities, which is a feature of the course. PC and workstation based computing laboratories provide tools for electronic circuit simulation and computer-aided design work. Other laboratories are proceeded for experiments in electronics engineering and physics.
E/TC Laboratories
E/TC department has two large laboratories as Electronics laboratory and Digital Electronics laboratory.
Electronics Laboratory
It is divided into two sections so that at a time two batches can perform practical. In this laboratory basic electronics, linear integrated circuits, instrumentation, applied electronics practical are performed. Lab is equipped with all the latest instruments.
Digital Electronics Laboratory
This lab is divided in two parts as Communication lab and Digital lab. In Communication lab practical related to all communication subjects are performed. The lab is being updated as per new syllabus requirements. In Digital lab practical of subjects digital electronics, industrial electronics, materials and components are performed. All the facilities are provided to students so they can perform their practical efficiently.

Head of Department
Mrs. M.R. Kuveskar
HOD is a blend of distinguished academician, skilled educator, researcher, experienced quality manager. She believes in creating vibrant and stronger global citizens
Apart from academics, research forms an important aspects of knowledge building at SSPP. This is reflected by the successful event organized by the department; “Techanica-2008”.Department has produced hundreds of professionals and has established a name for itself in the country and abroad. They have consistently excelled in the highly competitive industrial environment. I attribute this success to the winning combination of a dedicated faculty that works hard at imparting quality education, a well-planned syllabus and last but not least, our students.
